Our approach

Our personalised and evidence-based approach to health coaching is underpinned by eight core principles and a results-oriented framework for lasting change.

Our coaching principles

  • Icon of two hands holding lotus flower

    Holistic support

Nutrition, hormones, strength, mobility, fitness, sleep, stress management AND community and connection all matter. Our approach, and the plans we develop together with our clients, include guidance on evidence-backed shifts that work alongside other therapies.

    Evidence based

Every recommendation, from exercise to lifestyle interventions, is grounded in the best available women’s-centric research and guidelines, whilst acknowledging that guidelines evolve as science and research develop. We stay up to date, research thoroughly and translate complex evidence into clear, practical plans our clients can use.

  • Icon of ear with sound waves

    Validated experience

Symptoms and ailments are real. Your lived experience matters. We never dismiss a client’s experience as ‘normal ageing’ or unimportant. If you say you don’t feel like yourself, that deserves to be heard, explored and worked through—together.

    Personalised care

Menopause, movement, exercise and a healthy, thriving midlife is not one-size-fits-all. Every woman’s body, history, family story and goals are different. We tailor our approaches and plans for each individual client.

    Prevention focused

Prevention is part of our mission. Our 40s and 50s provide a critical window of opportunity to protect our long-term health, physical capabilities, metabolic function, emotional well-being and quality of life. Ageing well and living fully, wholeheartedly and independently in our 70s and 80s is built on the foundations of our physical, emotional and lifestyle health today.

  • Icon of open book

    Education first

Our coaching sessions are a one-on-one classroom that aims to build your knowledge and skills so that you are empowered moving forward. We aim to leave our clients understanding their bodies, their choices, the science and evidence, and how to advocate for themselves in their health and wellbeing.

    True partnerships

We work with our clients, not above them. We believe women deserve to guide and participate fully in decisions about their own bodies and interventions, be they supplements, lifestyle changes or exercise routines. We don’t gatekeep information—we share it, explain it and trust our clients to work through options that will serve them best, together.  We take pride in the depth of relationships we develop with each client and the strength of professional collaborations across allied practitioners and experts, including GPs, psychologists, exercise physiologists, dieticians and others.

    Safe conversations

Midlife and the menopause transition can affect intimacy, identity, relationships, and our physical and mental health. These conversations deserve privacy, honesty and respect—without stigma, shame or judgement. We listen and guide with compassion and respect.

What our clients say

“There are many who claim to offer holistic health coaching, but few have the range of skills required to actually deliver. I have been working with Janine for over six months now and can confirm that she has the expertise to help the whole you.

With her background in C-suite business transformation, combined with a deep knowledge about women’s mental and physical health, Janine has helped me to overcome several midlife challenges, including experiencing debilitating peri-menopause symptoms whilst starting a new business and juggling the needs of my ageing parents and my own teens. At 51, I am now in the best physical and mental health of my life. I never imagined I would be so physically strong and have the mental agility and resilience to take on the kind of challenges I have recently. And I did not expect it to happen so quickly! As Janine’s program is evidence-based, she knows how and when to change it, so you keep progressing. She has taught me so much about the mind-body connection, which has forever changed the way I view physical and mental health.

Working with Janine has transformed my life in so many profound and permanent ways, and I recommend her highly to anyone who wants to live a glorious, fulfilled and healthy second act.”
